Characteristic of the IB Learner Profile: KNOWLEDGEABLE

How does this piece of evidence show the chosen IB Learner Profile ?

This presentation shows the IB characteristic, KNOWLEDGEABLE, given that in order to make the content of this presentation, my partner and I had to develop and use our own conceptual understanding by exploring knowledge in a variety of disciplines. We had to relate the knowledge we already had and understood with new gained knowledge. Later on, make questioning and conclusions about what we understood, know and defend about our chosen topic.

Which challenges did I face when developing this particular evidence? 

I think our principal challenge was choosing the topic we both wanted to focus on. When we already has the topic and had research all about it, we didn't really had a problem putting our ideas together and the real life situations as examples, in order to create our presentation. 

It was indeed a very long process, but we managed to overcome it and make a very good presentation :)

Which feelings or memories do I remember while thinking about the evidence? 

I remember all the sleepless nights that we got into, trying to make the best arguments supporting our topic, and doing all the work. I also remember the nerves I had to present, but in the end, while I was presenting, they went away and I managed to do a good job since I understood my topic perfectly.

How can this particular evidence help me in the future? 
I feel that by doing this presentation and all the process that it entailed, it left me with so many different skills which hopefully I will be able to apply in future pieces of work. I feel that this presentation and all my experience in this subject, TOK, provided me with a lot of foundations and skills which will definitely help me in the future, and which I am really gratefull for.
