Characteristic of the IB Learner Profile: Inquirers

How does this piece of evidence show the chosen IB Learner Profile Characteristic?

Given that the extended essay is a research piece of work, the process of investigation made me develop skills of inquiry and questioning. That is why I feel INQUIRES, is the one which relates more to the process of this piece of work.

Which challenges did I face when developing this particular evidence? 

It was a very challenging piece of work, I could say it is the most challenging one I've done in my life up to now. My first challenge was to find the topic I wanted to focus on. As I explain in my video It took me some time to get to the specific topic I wanted to research and focus on. Since I wanted to find something interesting for me but also something that could engage others as well. 
Another challenge was coming up with the research question, since I had to come up with one that could engage the audience but also help me get to congruent and specific conclusions.

I think that the most challenging thing I faced was the investigation process; finding studies relating and proving my topic, information supporting it or even rejecting it, etc. 

Finally, another challenge was putting all my ideas and research together, following the correct and formal format. 

Despite all the challenges, I'm proud of the final result. 

 
What did I learn about myself while completing this evidence? 

I learned a lot of things about myself with this experience, but I think the most important one was realizing that I am capable of making such a difficult and complicated research task on my own, while getting to congruent conclusions. 

How can this particular evidence help me in the future? 

This was a very lengthy process, but I managed to overcome every obstacle I faced while working on it, and as I stated before, I am very proud of the final result. This experience helped me develop a lot of skills, including organization and research techniques, among many others which I’m sure will benefit me in future occasions.
